Sensitive Teeth
Teeth can become sensitive for a variety of reasons - for example - brushing the teeth too hard or too often can wear away enamel. Brushing too hard or in the direction of the gums can also cause the gums to recede which causes sensitivity at the point where the gums meet the teeth. Cavities will also cause sensitivity or pain.
While sensitive toothpastes work very well to help ease symptoms it is important to visit the dentist to determine the cause of and how best to treat the tooth's sensitivity.
