Acupuncture

Alongside conventional medical care, acupuncture may be helpful in managing conditions including pain, migraine, insomnia, IBS, fertility and female health.

What is acupuncture?
As part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), acupuncture is a system of complementary medicine as old as mankind. It involves the insertion of hair-thin, sterilised disposable needles at specific points in the body, stimulating the release of energy blockages and said to aid innate healing ability.

In the hands of a fully qualified professional practitioner, acupuncture is entirely safe and free from harmful side-effects.

Why have acupuncture?
Acupuncture may help relieve pain, restore energy, and improve health and wellbeing. While it is often used to simply recharge your batteries, it may also be used – in conjunction with conventional medical care – to support your care for specific ailments, including:
-   fertility
-   pregnancy care
-   menstrual problems/ menopause
-   back/ neck/ shoulder pain
-   stress/ insomnia
-   migraine/ neuralgia
-   irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
